Neutral Cast
Color cast is controlled by setting the hue and the gain. Unique settings can be made for any combination of regions and neutrals.
ColorBender cast adjustments do not clip and do not change vivid colors.
As an example, the adjustment panels, shown below, first set the hue to the green magenta tone plane and then adjust the cast gain. The Cast Hue and Cast Gain can be adjusted in any order.

In the control settings shown, green cast is applied to the Whites and Grays for the middle, top right, and bottom left regions.
Comparison of White, Gray, and Black Selectors for Neutral Cast Adjustments
The following example shows a combination of region selection (top) and neutral selections (whites, grays, and blacks, respectively). These results each started with the original image before applying the cast operations so the effects could be compared. Normally, in ColorBender, the results of operations accumulate as shown in the next example.

top whites, red cast top grays, red cast top blacks, red cast

The operation steps are:
- Setup
- Region buttons: click invert(all off), top left(on), top center(on), top right(on)
- Select Cast Hue from the popup menu
- Adjust to reddish hue (0)

Sequential Cast Adjustments
This example is more typical. First, the bottom region grays are given an orangish cast to produce a warm glow effect. The top region whites are given a cyan-blue cast to make the sky bluer. Finally the middle region is brightened. The control settings used are shown below.

golden cast for bottom grays and, blue-cyan cast for top whites and, brighten the middle

In normal operation, ColorBender accumulates a sequence of operations as shown in this example.
